Vivre sa vie comme dans un jeu aux règles simples / Living life like playing a game with simple rules.

La mort est une réalité inéluctable, un des défis les plus absurdes de la vie. Cette installation questionne le passant sur sa capacité à affronter la mort, à éprouver la nature impitoyable de la vie. Le public replonge en enfance pour parcourir à cloche pied ce jeu de marelle démesuré illustrant nos vies décousues, de notre naissance à notre mort. L’œuvre explore l’impuissance de l’homme s’élançant dans la vie comme dans un jeu aux règles simples.« La vie n’est qu’un piège où l’on finit toujours par tomber.» Minou Petrowski

This installation confronts visitors with their ability to come to terms with mortality and the inevitable end to their journey in life. The public plunges back into childhood as they hop along on one foot in a game of hopscotch that depicts the different stages of life, from birth to death. This artwork explores the powerlessness of humans, making their way through life, as in a game with simple rules. “Life is a trap that always gets us in the end.” Minou Petrowski
